I'm a newbie to this forum, but have been playing for the better part of 15 years, mostly league play, both ice and inline...with time off for various injuries, surgeries and vigorous rehabbing...ACL, meniscus, hamstring, fractured fibula, etc...

Now, I'm in the decline ( senior leagues!!!!!!!! ) mode. I found it impossible to play with the kids for more than 30 minutes!!LOL

If anyone is in the Chicagoland area, I'd like to hear from you. I moved here from San Diego recently, and am looking around for some decent ice time. I'm in the part of the state where all the sports talk is "SOX/CUBS"...I wanna vom!!! Baseball was invented for those who can't play a contact sport!!...J/K

Thanks, and keep your stick on the ice.:p

Welcome.

Since the Chancellor of Dickery hasn't responded to your first post, perhaps we can get you a cookie from the Lollipop Guild. :p

I'm in the mid/east section of the state...Joliet is the nearest sizable city ( DUMP ). I need to know good rinks, and somewhat competitive leagues that aren't full of juvenile ****heads that have yet to achieve the actual status of manhood.

...sounds like an impossible mission...LOL

I don't know what was worse, the forwards, or the pylons that were called defensemen. I broke 3 sticks one season from cracking them over the crossbar out of frustration.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Tommorrow it's official-I turn 40...get the walker ready!!
