Remember, in order to win some of the prizes we are offering up, from Myself, Keeks, AcmeGuy, Junior you need to be registered and have made at least one post, to get your name into the draws!

Since we have hit 1000 members the drawings will be taking place soon!

because this is completely random, the event and outcomes cannot be reproduced and re-doing the steps would therefore just return different results.

First step was to create a list of all users that are eligible for this election and assign them the default value of "1".

The next value was to give a slightly better benefit to active members of the community.

if you've logged in within the last 30 days, you are considered an "active member" and received an aditional +0.50 towards your ballots

if you've logged in within the last 31-60 days, you received +0.25

if you've made some post or reply in the last 30 days, you received +.50

per post you've made, you received +.01 towards your ballots (Lighter side section posts do not count)


All of this was added up together. The number was then rounded via standard rounding rules (down at .4 and up at .5) to the nearest Whole number.


This is the ammount of Ballots you will receive on the date to be set by Scott,

Once that is done, I will create a new table with one row per ballot. the row will be assigned 2 numbers. a Counter or "ballot number" and your userid.

I will then run a special "random" function to pick a random number. this random number will coincide with a ballot number.

This will be a winning number.
