I got my first concussion of the year yesterday at practice.
I had a knee down in the corner while the other goalie was taking shots, one guy came in shallow and missed the net with a clapper, got me in the side of the head.
It didn't knock me out, I was rattled but ok so i finished practice. I drove home and went to bed.
Problem is I couldn't fall asleep and I started throwing up. I apparently got a drive to the hospital which I don't remember.
Good times good times.

That sounds pretty rough, hope you are feeling better, and can get back into the game soon. I am waiting to get back from meniscus surgery so I feel your pain.
I am not sure how many concussions I am on :D.

Get ready for the mood swings, lightheadedness, fatigue, and slow vision! It's fun.

Oh worry not, I'm well experienced in the matter.
a lifetime of competitive skiing has enlightened me on concussions (or is that an oxymoron)
I'm actually dressing for our home opener friday, just because I'm one of the regular two goalies and they want to introduce us, I won't be playing in the game.

Take care of yourself. Get some rest and don't play again until your symptoms have left.

No worries, like I said I'm very aware of the dangers of concussions and rushing back to play.
