I've had these pads since June and am VERY impressed for being the lowest of the RX series and the low price tag. I play for my high school so i'm getting some pretty good shots on these things.
LEG PADS 9/10
I ordered everything through goaliemonkey, and i didn't try anything on prior so i was really shooting in the dark on these. Surprisingly these pads get the job done, and do it WELL. Sliding is a breeze and rebounds don't stand a chance. The Knee lock system is a great innovation and after playing around with it i keep it where i can get both pad breaks working and its great. I can keep my butterfly pretty wide and the rebounds don't stray far. The one thing i really had to get used to on these pads was the boot. Theres only one place on these pads if they get hit it gives up rebounds, and its the toe of the boot. A few times i couldn't get my stick all the way over to my right boot to deflect a shot and the puck would go straight back in front, with a BIG juicy rebound. but after a little practice i've learned to be able to get them in the corners off the toe.
BLOCKER 10/10
The Blocker for this set is amazing. before this i had a RBK blocker and it was a little too bulky for my liking. but the Itech really got the blocker right on this one. perfectly balance, light, comfortable, and easy to send rebounds where you want. i absolutely love the blocker.
Trapper 7/10
This is the one piece of the set i'm not happy with, i actually might sell it and get something else. It is tough to break in, even after a couple months i still can't get it close all the way. i get PLENTY of stingers also. if you get a good slapshot with this be ready for some pain, the padding is just not enough. even through all this, i've still been able to get used to it enough so that i don't usually close my glove if i catch it, but the puck will usually just sit in the pocket if i get right.
overall i'd give it a 9/10 for the price.
i'll post some pics when i find my camera
