I've been fooled on dekes before but never have I had this happen to me in over 20 years of playing goalie. It was in warm ups before a drop in when some one did the usual NHL Allstar break away triple deke that usually just token attempt to block while dodging a slap shot from someone else when it felt like some flicked the back of my marriage tackle really hard. The Allstar put the puck in the net and I didn't think too much else of it until later in the skate it felt like me jock was "floating". In the dressing room afterwards while getting undressed I found out that the flick I felt was the elastic at the bottom of the cup had snapped and broke. My jock had been floating in place by just the waist band for the entire session. Now there is some one out there who can actually say that they faked me out of my jock. Just one more moment to put into my hall of shame. :rolleyes:
