Awesome mask!
Ron is one of the best mask painters I have ever seen!
I still need to get photos of the mask he gave me when he picked up his gear uploaded! If you have photos Ron, please post them!
The mask is on display in the office area in my shop and is within 2 feet of me as I type this, his stuff is so good, its not just a mask, its a work of art.

The more of ron's stuff i've seen the better it seems to get! probably one of the premiere painters in the area.
and from what i've heard, probably one of the most affordable for custom paint job. I know if i ever have money again, i might get him to paint me one

With acme's blessing I'm contemplating auctioning this brand new top of the line Vaughn helmet. I would only do it to donate the entire proceeds to some type of charity or hockey related cause.
It would be signed by me if requested. ( that of course would lessen the value...)
I have no idea what these things are worth and what some good cause would be.
I don't want any money to come through me. We could have the winner donate it directly (with proof) to the charitable organization, minor hockey group etc.
Let's get the ball rolling.

Possibly the charity Brian Heaton's daughter Stephanie was promoting in memory of her father..?

I have just received my mask from Ron, and it's beautiful! Almost too nice to let guys mark it up with pucks!
Ron, please post the pics of Scott's mask, and mine too. I don't have a camera (or the computer skills to do it myself . . .)
Just a note: So I've worn my mask in two (2) playoff games so far, one with each team / both wins. One of the guys said that he noticed a bit of hesitation with guys shooting at me, and he couldn't tell if it was the Tony the Tiger Pads or the Pic of Jesus on the side of the mask!:D
Anyway, the mask has been a pleasure to wear, and the Tony the Tiger really makes the Mask / Equipment a 'set'.
Ron does TREMENDOUS work. Any of you guys/gals needing some ART for your Mask, I'd highly recommend him.

This is the only picture I could find of the mask I gave to Scott in appreciation for this board and the extra graphics work he did on my gear.
The mask is a CovetedMask-"Z"-model. Its simple paint scheme includes my logo on this side and the "maskull" logo that matches my gear on the other.
I have registered on other BBs (before this one) and opened a thread in the manufacturers section of the one in Western Canada. Immediately after doing so I was contacted by phone and solicited to pay for advertising (at around $300 - $500 a month)
When I refused, I was kicked out - simple as that.
I was turned onto Goalielife after a customer made a review of a paint job I did for him. At that time we had about 800 members (I think).
As an extremely small scale manufacturer I can't thank Scott enough, he has given us "little guys" a huge break - in a business where the breaks are few and far between - in letting us talk freely about our products and specialized goaltender services.
Thank You Mr. Battram

Ron, you do phenomenal work. I have a few ideas I'd like to bounce around off you whenever you get the chance. I may have a new lid coming my way, and if I do, we are going to talk.
May not be able to afford you right now, but if it helps, I can throw Sprawlie in as part of the deal, I hear he does great housework.;)
At least, according to efstrafolupagus.:p

Just think of all the business you would get Ron if you paid the green machine the 300 - 500 a month! its working so well, manufacturers are lined up waiting for a spot!
I will post more photos of the mask tonight... I will have the camera and Photobucket going since I will for once in a long time finished early! well around 9 or 9:30 on a stock set of Nexus!

Yes, I do their stock art - some of which I actually like and think is quite good - their custom stuff and a few times a year work out of their shop painting solids.
Why do you ask?

I see, if it's more than a couple years old then it was done by Armour Graphics.
You can tell my stuff because it's usually outlined with a fine-line brush.
Thanks.

I actually owned one of those.
My uncle said he had a mask for me, and I was disappointed when it was this. Sure wish I knew where it was now, tho.:(
