Just migrated over from the GSBB...

My son wants to move up to a new set of custom equipment later this year.
He is currently wearing RBK PS1 Intermediate Pros, and they are virtually falling apart after one hard year of use.

Which Battram Pad is closer in design to the PS1? And how would the new Battram Nexus compare to the P1 design.

G-man, I moved from the RBK 5k's based on the PS1 design to the Fury pads.

While they are dissimilar, I found the Fury was overal a better pad that offered me a lot more flexibility in my game.

I havn't seen the Nexxus pads myself so i can't complain, though I hear they're more like a Fury pad thats self enclosed and thinner than the PS2.

what I did was get Scott to completely gut the Fury leg channel. Make it shallower. 1 Boot strap, move all strapping and calf wrap to the outside of the pad and the end result was a highly flexible pad that was as easy to use and as comfortable to use as my 5k's. BUT with more "S" shape!
