hey can anyone answer me this;
How the hell do i get my clip to stay on? I had only adjusted it... and it started comming off. The strap keeps sliding off of the buckle clip for the rib area. And ive replaced it a couple of times, andhave been having to do it once or twice a game, and it keeps happening. Only complaint i have about my CA.
Any ideas? anyone else have this issue?
Ps. scott you have an e-mail, because i lost one when it fell off in a game.

By stay on do you mean it is breaking off or is the strap just sliding all the way through it? If the strap is jus sliding all the way through it then you can adjust it the way you like it, then get a needle and thread. Sew the strap so that the buckle can't slide off. This shouldn't require you being proficient at sewing or anything. Just a few knots and such. Did the same thing on my eagle jock with the elastic straps that kept sliding out of the buckles.

Lots of ways to secure it...
Tape
Fold it back through as it was when it was sent to you
Stitch it when you have it adjusted to your liking

I bought a few extra sliding locks i think they are called. After going thru the buckle take the strap thru the sliding lock.. and it hasnt moved since.
Its rectangular shaped.

I had the same problem where it loosened up on me. I just ran it back through like Scott suggested above and it is absolutely staying put. I found that it did not help to crank it too tight. Snug, yes. Tight, no.
Good luck.

what you need is
1½" Double Bar Buckle Sliders
I would have to run and measure my straps but i think they were 1-1/2 inch
here is one seller on ebay.

added one of these on each side and the straps never loosen.

Jim, when we build the upper body pads we use the same setup on them, your unit should have had them on it, but since you bought used, perhaps they were not on the straps???

You could also get the tri-glides at any local REI type shop. They should not cost more than a few bucks.
Here are some examples

the 1.5" is $1.50 US
