Since Gregan posted this on the GSBB, I thought I'd ask. What's up with this contest? Any idea when this is going to happen? What will be up for grabs? Any news at all?

Scott has already addressed this. He wants to reach a particular membership threshold before doing the giveaway. I seem to remember 1000 members being mentioned, but I don't think it was a firm committment.

Scott will announce the details at the time he feels is most appropriate. He's a man of his word and I have never known him to be cheap when giving away gear.

Ideally I would like to see 1000 members here before the draw is held. We have not really been advertising the BB and the membership is slowly growing.

I've got patience, just was wondering about it. I didn't see the thread and a search didn't find anything about it.

Having said that, I hope we hit 1000 members soon!:D

Edit: Hmmmm.... Just checked the member list. Only 200 so far. We gotta start pimpin' this site out!

I think you should giv eit away sooner. So that a member whos been here longer has the shot to win. Why wait for slackers who just come becuase they hear about that?
