Now i'm aware that different sizes or special mod requests are to be taken into account when viewing product pictures, but i still have some questions.

Here are pics from the Battram gear site...
In this one, the arm blocks and underlying shoulder wing look big, as per the old specs

In this one, the arm blocks appear smaller as so the underlying shoulder wing

In this one, the principal shoulder wing seems to be modified to cover more and has no breaks along the front

And lastly, this one seems to be the LEGAL version as per current pro specs...right? The underlying shoulder wings also appear to have been trimmed down here as well

My question...were all these personal requests or experimenting on your part Scott?

Optical illusions... they all have the parts that would be the same size, other than the one with the full clavicle pads. At least to the best of my knowledge they are all the same sized for the parts in questions... colours and angles of pictures sure can do some weird things!

All the CA's you made are nhl-legal right? I've been asked if my CA was legal and I've told ppl yes it is, but they dont believe me cuz it looks quite big...

No c/a on the market are fully NHL legal. Of course you can ask for 7" elbow blocks and no flat parts on the biceps and forearms . But, until the unit is fully customized like a tailor would make a suit, nobody can follow the "no more than 1" of padding all around the actual goalie's body shape" rule. Look:
