I bough this after reading a thread in the gear talk section. I have used it in 4 games now & I am very impressed with the comfort & mobility it provides. I am wearing it exactly as they describe on their website & so far it is working out way better than I expected. I was wearing an Eagle double cup & I find this one to by way more comfortable & stays in position better.

I have not yet taken a majoe direct hit but I have had a couple of wrist shots bounce off it & the protection is perfect so far.

No, I wear it by itself; the Eagle is just too bulky & gets in the way. I have now played 6 games with it & so far it is the best piece of equipment I have ever owned.

In last night's game we were killing a penalty & I got hit with a full blast one-timer from the slot. Never saw it coming & it hit dead on. Puck dropped straight down & before I could cover it with my glove the ref blew the play down. He said he saw where it hit & he was sure I was dead. I never felt a thing it was unbelievable. I was totally unprepared for that because the last time I got hit like that with my Eagle I was on my knees for a good 30 seconds before I could catch my breath.

I was wearing it exactly as they recommend & I am definitely sold on this product.

But goalie jocks cover the lower abs with a foam/plastic banner. The NB does not seem to be built to cover that high. Aren't you worried that a slapper might find its way between your c/a and your pubic bone/line?

I am using D&R 8.2 pants & they have that area covered nicely. with inside & overlapping sections. I also have a D&R 8.2 CA and overlaps the pants just enough to provide adequate protection.

Thanks for posting this! I'm in need of a new jock, as my Brown is getting pretty worn out, and I wear oversized Tackla's and an Itech Pro c/a (Bolt Throwers before he got his Battram Pro) that cover the lower abs. Less bulk would be nice!:)

OK...I'm going to try one.

I'll let you all know what I think.

It was rather nice to look on the chart and see that I'm bordering on the XL (The Mongo). Almost like finding out you need a Magnum!!

Too bad this is as close as I'll get....damned Italian genes :(

Review to follow.

I'm going to get one, too. If they don't work, Ant and I will form a BeeGees tribute band.

I still love watching that video.

I'll feel weird without my Matrix, but I could use the mobility!!
