1rst game Loss 4-6, they pulled me with 40 seconds left to make it easier for the other team to score. Score was 4-5.

2nd game Win 1-0, offense is overrated. New Years Eve game.

3rd game I missed due to blizzard. Alleged loss of 8-4

4rth game Loss 4-0. Offense still out MIA

5th game Loss 6-1. Offense and Defense and goaltendering MIA

6th game Win 4-3. In OT. Sweet game. Jan 22

7th game Win 1-0. Offense is one guy on our team. Defense is me. Jan 23

Im kind of tripping on my shutouts. They were good games. Lot of luck involved. Made a save with my helmet.

The CB team was cobbled together and wasnt thier real team.

Both goals were scored on the same D's watch. First one, was a puck, flipped from behind the net by the bad guys. My D guy catchs it in the slot, opposite from where the puck was behind the net. I'm over there looking at the puck flipper. The D guy drops the puck and it gets slammed in before I can get to it.

2nd goal was a cross the slot pass, from the same area, same D left a bad guy all alone in the weak side and I couldnt get to the shot.

So that's where the Salida asshats were. Nice! All of my D were subs on Saturday night and I didn't face a single 1-0 or 2-0 breakaway. :D

On average it's about 20 minutes at the most from home to any of the rinks for me.

On the other hand, I can't look out my window and see the Rockies. :p

This league is ass. The rangers and flames dont actually exists, they are basically a drop in of whoever shoes up, which rangers from complete spodes to allstar fan bois.

Won again 6-4 against the flames. The flames were composed of drop in players from various leagues and teams. They had 1 sub, we had 2. The entire league has fallen apart

They fired the League manager (6 months too late:mad:) last thursday. Thank God.:rolleyes:

They'll finish out the season in May and there's talk of a major revamp of league programs this summer.

The entire adult league went from something like 18 teams last summer to 6 functional teams or maybe 7 or 8 players as of now. It's a disaster.

they had a hot shot player that scored 5 goals right off. What I learned from his is Im still too deep in net and dropping too early.

My timing for lower level players is apparently fine but for higher level players....im too slow and off target. BAH.

Well, a sad milestone occurred on sunday. I skipped a game and couldn't have cared less.

Complete garbage league forced me to do the unthinkable. Leave the ice during game time.

The other team (williams explorers) has increasingly been adding ringers to ensure a win. Before we'd have close games, 3-1, 5-1 and we'd win. Last two games they add thier ringers and the games are complete blowouts. Now, last night, they have 4 A league players roll out and a kid who has a spot on a Juniors program.

On one hand it was fun the first 50 shots to test my goaltending versus higher level players. On the other, I'm fronting a C league team that was moved into the B league because they had a few B league players on it. So, on our best day, it was tough to get a win.

We lost 8-2. On the probably 20th breakaway with 10 seconds left in the game they scored the 8th goal.

I picked my water off the net, went to the bench, got my stick and left the ice. And told them to fix thier ****ing league. It was a surreal moment. Our bench was going ape**** at the sandbaggers and causing a riot. There was another fight in the corner and I finally said F it and left. They dropped the puck with 7 of our team on the ice and it just sat there....was pretty funny I'm sure.

On top of that, our team kook, got into a full on, gloves off fight AGAIN (happens every game) and added about 30 mins to an already late game.

Idiots. Time, Gas and Car wear and tear require I give up this foolish hobby.

i wish leagues would take a more active role in the players they allow on certain teams.

Last year it happened in our "D" division team. One of the teams was 0 - 15. Suddenly after the 1/2 way point they won every game by at least 5 goal margin.

2 players were enrolled on the team and both of them in 1/2 the season jumped to the scoring leaders by 20 points.

they were nice guys and admitted to me they play Junior A's and were playing on the team just for practice and fun with their friends.

I Think i faired decently against them, In the Semi Finals they beat us 8 - 2. Again, those two players scoring 7 of their goals.

League convenors need to look into these types of players. If someone is running away with scoring titles and one team suddenly out of nowhere starts pulling gigantic victories. They need to balls up and tell those players to bugger off as it ruins the league for the True "D" or "C" leaguers who can't play higher

One of my fill in teams had their league (B) merged with another (C). REally sucked because every other game was a hack fest.

Los Angeles Kings - I received the team registration packet on Friday, and faxed it in immediately, received confirmation from David Cohen (the tournament director) early Saturday morning. We are in the tournament. We will be going the second weekend, September 25-28.
He indicated that in the next couple of weeks, he'd be sending the package with the individual registration forms, and re-contacting me in August to discuss divisions, scheduling, hotels, etc.
