I am looking for pictures of a Battram NHL legal spec C&A. Any out there?

Actually, when I ordered my NHL-legal C/A a few months ago, I was told all that needed to be changed from stock was to make the shoulder floaters a half inch narrower. There won't be much difference between a legal and an illegal Battram C/A.

I was under the impression the elbow floaters would have to be narrowed significantly as well to meet the 7" width rule? I don't know how wide the stock ones are as I have an older 3500 unit with even wider (at least in the middle) elbow floaters. I haven't measured them but they are probably 8.5" at the widest point. I have no problem going to a narrower set-up. I am just wondering if it means the whole arm has to be made narrow to accomodate narrower floaters. My arms are very solid and protective and I rarely get stung anywhere on the arm (unless a puck or stick hits the back of my arm when I am swimming around my crease!) I would not want to give up that level of protection in order to achieve a narrower width.

My Battram C/A's elbow floaters aren't that wide, if I recal they are about 7.5" wide. So even the elbow floaters won't have to be shrunk too much.

Just the elbow floaters get made narrower. Most people once hearing they are 7.25 - 7.5" do not even worry about loosing the extra .5 inch unless they are really concerned that the league they play in will measure.

I am sure most of the leagues I play in do not own a tape measure. I would only be concerned about tournaments but even then I doubt there would be an issue. If the floaters were 12" wide someone might complain but otherwise I doubt anyone would even notice! I will find out next season if anyone complains about my 12" wide pads! If they do I will suggest they pay for my new ones. :D
