Here is a photo I was just emailed this evening, I think Shorty is a board member here... He is on the left, Troy is a Canadian from the East Coast living and working in Japan... he is the one with the mask!

Did I ever think 16 years ago when I started into this game that I would ever have one set of my gear land in Japan, let alone 2 full sets on the same team?

In reality, we have shipped to Japan several times... but its always nice to see some shots from places where hockey might not be as popular as it is here in North America!

Neat to note that Battram and Christian are the featured builders in the shot - very appropriate.

Hi Mottox,

Great Pads and Jersey's.

I have a question for you, I have emailed a few Japanese teams for purchasing some jerseys but have never gotten any replies back. My great grandfather is Japanese and have always been interesting in all things Japanese. :D

So if you could hook a brother up with some links or contacts of Japanese jersey's preferably goalie jerseys.

I have 2 national jerseys that are exactly the same. Yes I am an enormous goalie. :D

Good to say I have lost about 40 pounds since that picture, it was taken about 2 years ago.

Thanks!

is the goalie on the left wearing a verge trapper? i know that the nexus gloves are the hot item right now, but i might be interested in a verge glove. it looks a lot like a 5500 or epic.

Victrien
2 of NHL goalies showed up to the show in Japan.
They are Jamie Ram & Jamie McLennan.
It's gonna be OK if your name is "Jamie"...
Cujo,
Yes, I love my verge trapper. It's similar feeling to my old Vaughn 5500
or Vic 950.

Whoa! That's the craziest thing. Troy is wearing your gear and my mask.
He contacted me looking for his mask after he was duped by some other company that I used to do paint work for. I was originally painting that one for me (it would have been the dogfighter mask) but Troy said he was headed back to Japan in a few days, that's the best I could do for him on short notice. You know who his cousin is don't you Scott? #2 in AHL/GW mag.
