The ACME on the outer roll is classic. The graphic is pretty sweet too!!

Well done, Scott.

everytime I see one of those custom graphics pads, I wish I spent the extra time to actually come up with something on my own. Not that the stock fury graphics is bad..

But this is just incredible

What's the weight on the pad with all that graphics?

What?!?!? What have you against the Fury graphic?:D

By the way, as per Warner Brothers, ACME means "A Company that Makes Everything". I found that out while doing my research for that graphic.

Chakal,

Nothing. The Fury graphic is one of my favourite on modern pads. Thats why I did go with it. But when you see some of the custom work, and you think "HOLY CRAP!!! i WANT THAT!"

i would have done that, but i spent nearly 2 weeks trying to come up with a decent design, as I'm sure you remember me pestering you a couple times :p

Ryeno,

This particular graphic really did not add much more weight to the pad than some of our stock graphics, since it is not covering a large percentage of the pad and the Nash material used to make the tan colours is very light in weight. I would guess that this one would actually be less than a stock Fury graphic because there is less material used.

Ahhh see what you've done! that's 4 more days, do you know how many times I can change my mind in 4 days?! hehe...

No seriously, you should probably make some room on the mail server for all the update order docs you'll end up getting:D

Wow Scott!

Look really nice, awesome :D

By the way, I still got good comments on my Deceptor Quebec Fleur de Lys, (designed by Chakal). Even the referee comes to me to talk about it during a game!

Scott, I'd imagine my Fury combo should be close to production too? Last time I emailed was a couple weeks ago and Tischa mentioned the last week in May as the target.

I dont have access to your real names on here!! But if you are Chip, the gloves are done and the pads are being cut today and will be built up tomorrow. (Only customer in California this week that is getting a combo!)

Then we have Jeremy up for Mondays production for a combo...

We had some delays last week on some materials so we had to juggle the schedule while awaiting white and black Jenpro to come into the shop.

Just talked to the fine folks at Battram today. Will be ordering a custom set for my son in the next week or two. He will definitely be the envy of everyone here in VA.

Am I a cool dad or what?

I would be Jeremy! Excellent news. Just wanted to make sure all the details are cool. I know when we spoke on the phone last, you had said we'd talk sizing and such when it was time for production.

Thanks Scott!

My question to Scott would be this (I post it here because I feel it could benefits other than me):

Would it be possible to get the Fury pads with the Verge thickness? Since my butterfly is narrow, I found that the thinner the pads get, the less "automatic" rotation I get. I mean, with my Verge, the pads were totally rotating 100% of the time. Now, with thinner pads, sometimes I don't get as much rotation.

Since I love the Fury flex and leg channel and profile, I was wondering that maybe, just making the pad thicker, like the Verge, would help. Am I right?

Sprawl

chakal. Try taking out aknee stack. I just played with only 2 instead of the 3 that is put inn, and Iwas getting almost perfect rotation

chakal

I'll try but I had the same problem with the thin pads I tried in store. Never was able to make rotate Gatekeeper, Blockade and recently TPS R8.

I will check the patterns David, but I am thinking the Verge and Fury profiles are pretty close in terms of inside gussett thickness...

I am planning on giving a little more thickness on the inside knee of the Fury to make it easier to sew the gussett to the backing, so it should give an extra 1/2"

I will check the patterns later today and see what the thickness difference is.

I said it and I'll say it again, Michael Cayer at Extreme AirBrush is impressing me every times.

I took off one kneelift and I'll try that. So, Scott, don't work too much on that until I find out how it works. I was using 4 lifts on my Verge and I thought 3 on the Fury would be OK. I'll go with 2 and I'll see.

What I like about the 4 lifts is I was higher on the ice. Do you know how much more net you cover when you're 1" higher in your butterfly.

Battram "custom" art is unmatched.....

The Simpsons pads are still my favorite, the duff beer can in the web of the catcher ... such a little thing, but so perfectly exicuted ... truely amazing!

Scott Battram

Chakal, just so you know we have added 1/2" more width through the inside knee of the pad, this change has been a definate improvement over the original Fury inside knee in giving the goaltender a little more stability while in the butterfly.
