I noticed that the Verge trapper uses something called Pro-palm "for ultimate protection". What is the pro-palm? Are there any other glove models that use it?
Thanks!

Paul,
Basically the pro-palm is back to the way gloves used to be made, you know the kind of glove that you shouldn't get many stingers with. Many of todays off the shelf gloves go with little in the palm area of glove in order to give the kids an already broken in game ready feel, gone are the days of having to work a glove in.
Basically, in my opinion a game ready glove sacrifices the protection in order to achieve a light weight game ready piece not to mention the need to replace the glove more frequently (this is great if you can buy a new glove each year, but not so great if you want to keep the glove for a long period of time). The old school way of glove palm material features orthopedic felt, with the plastic and nash layers sewn together. This process takes a little longer, but gives the best protection, opposed to foam and plastic glued together.
Many customers ask me for a triple or double pro palm...what the heck is that??? Just do it right the first time and you shouldn't have a problem is my answer!
With our gloves, my goal is always protection, performance and comfort.
We have a neurosurgeon as a customer, and I believe if he trusts his hands in our products then we must be doing something right, the only mod on his glove is an extra layer of foam in the palm area, which is probably unnecessary, but if it is going to help protect his lifesaving hands, I am not going to argue it!
We can do pro-palms in any models of our glove including the 500(0)(1)(2) models.
