Wasn't sure where to post this, but as I am playing the UK version of beer league here seemed as good as anywhere!
The forumite known as 'Moving Target' recommended I come here and soak in the knowledge.
So greetings from another UK member!
Currently using Brians Demon pads which are in need of replacement after 5 years of abuse, a Vaughan catcher and an Opus blocker.
Looking to replace all of the above soon.
Mainly playing rec right now with two of the local teams, looking to move up and play league next season.

Just curious, what do you call a beer league in the UK?
Stout league?
Guinness league?
Let's-get-pissed league? :)

Welcome to the board Duff33......
We enjoy having MT's wit, so another member from that little island should double the fun!

Been a Canadian for 35 of my 36 years, but born in Yorkshire and do have British citizenship and passport. So maybe when language barriers come up I can try and assist as a go between for you guys? ;)

Duffs actually a bit better than beer league but don't tell him I said that. (We both play in recreational leagues and question why we bother :( )
