Purchase – Very Good
Pros
I bought these pads after Scott advertised them on GSBB. These were shop samples that were never used before. The price was just silly for a brand new pair of pro level pads, so I sold off a pair of Eagles Fusions I had just purchased and bought these bad boys. As per usual, Scott was very friendly and easy to deal with. The pads were sent next day for a very reasonable shipping price and arrived looking even more beautiful than they look on the website pictures.
Cons
Although these pads are great, you will see that they are not the exact pads I would want. Some of the Cons that I have with these pads are usually not seen with Scott’s pads because they are custom made, while mine were one of the few “off the shelf” pads that Scott sells.

Comfort – Excellent
Pros
These pads are nice and light, provide infinite adjustability with the quick-snap straps and have an extremely soft and comfortable inner leg channel (made from the softest and nicest looking nash I have had the opportunity to see). They quickly become a “part of you” and you forget that they are “new” in no time. During any of the usual flopping maneuvers that are a part of my game, there is no pain, strain or discomfort caused by these pads.
Cons
NONE

Looks – Very Good
Pros
I really like the colour combo on these pads. The Blue/Silver/White is one of my favourite colour combos and looks great in all weave on these pads. The Incinerator design is a nice simple graphic yet to me still looks different (the most similar other design out there is probably the Smith SP2000 which I like a little better than the Incinerator one). I am a fan of the thin thigh rise and square vertical roll as opposed to the triangular vertical roll.
Cons
I am not a fan of the graphics on the knee wing and calf wing. It’s not that I don’t like the look of it, but rather I feel the edges of the material are going to impede my slides somewhat (this may just be me being a picky idiot) and placing so many edges on such a high wear area is not ideal for me. If I custom order pads someday, they will be one colour on the knee and calf wing, giving the smoothest surface possible. I also like the look of completely flat-faced pads, so I would give the knee rolls the boot if given the option.

Strapping – Very Good
Pros
I am a big fan of the quick snap straps and I love that you are able to adjust them up to oe millimeter if you so wish. The presence of the upper thigh strap is also a bonus as it really can be used to “pull” the thigh rise in when closing the b-fly.
Cons
I have no use at all for the 2nd boot strap (closest to the toe). Unfortunately the design of this pad is such that the boot straps go into the pads. Once you take that strap out, you are not really able to get it back in. This is not such a problem except if you plan on re-selling the pads (which I always keep in mind since I have yet to find my “perfect” pad). In the future I would order a single boot strap.

Performance – Very good
Butterfly - Good
Pros
These rotate perfectly into a nice 12 inch wall without much effort. A few adjustments of the straps was all it took for that. The calf wedges and knee lifts work very well in conjunction to allow me to be comfortable, stable, and stay tall in my b-fly. There are no gaps at all along the ice, making sure most of the 35” stay touching the ice.
Cons
No matter how hard I try I always get a V-shaped opening (about a 2 inch gap) where the two pads meet when I b-fly. It is not really a functional problem since the thighboards cover that opening, but it bothers me that I can’t get them flush. I have tried all the possible strapping combinations but I just can’t get the two tops of the thigh rise to be completely parallel.

Slides – Very Good
Pros
B-fly slides in these pads are great. I can really get from one side to another in a flash in these pads.
Cons
I wish the graphics were not there on the knee and calf wing, I am probably imagining it but I think I could make my slides perfect (for my skill level) if it wasn’t there.

Recoveries - Excellent
Pros
I have found it very easy to pop right up with these pads and get a good push towards the action. I think the tapered toe really helps with that aspect.
Cons
NONE

Fit and Finish – Excellent
(By fit and finish I am talking about the quality of the materials, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and feel of materials. Like how a Lexus has beautiful fit and finish, while a Dodge does not. If that makes any sense)
Pros
Scott is garnering an excellent reputation for some of the best looking pads with great craftsmanship and these pads are just another example of that. Every stitch is in place, there are no lose corners of weave, and everything about this bad has “presence” to it. The nash used in the leg channel is soft yet durable. Nothing about this pad looks or feels cheap.
Cons
I would not use white for the leg channel, because as pretty as it looks when new, it will turn brown/black due to sweat and use. That can sometimes make pads look older and funkier than they really are.

Reliability/Durability – Excellent
Pros
Still too early to tell, but besides puck marks these pads look exactly the same as the first day they got to my house. I do not foresee any problems at all with this aspect.
Cons
NONE (too early to truly measure)

Overall Mark – Very Good

I think if I had ordered these pads and made the changes I mentioned above these pads would be absolutely phenomenal, right now as they are though, they are a very good pad which I picked up at a bargain prize. Once again, great job Scott!!!
